The Beatles-Memories (1967)
Following the release of “Revolver” in 1966, the band was preparing a new, whimsical project based on their childhood memories and deep nostalgia (a concept that both John and Paul had been developing since the previous year).
“Memories” would begin production on December 6, 1966, after a well-deserved break following the release of their seventh album, and would be released on April 21, 1967. It is characterized by its immense musical richness and a qualitative evolution in sound and experimentation that would catalyze future works with the same creative force.
