Hi all,

I will fly to Bali with my gf and planning on proposing to her while on the trip. I am unsure about bringing the ring with me due to customs. As far as I understood you have to fill out a customs declaration. For me it seems it counts as an personal item (not needed to be addressed) and will be brought back to my home country so is there an issue?
The ring is around 1.2k €/USD.
