Maxwell 2 - sound issued after update v1.0.57

Good news for anyone who has weird digital noises when no audio is playing after latest update - customer support rep confirmed that they are working on this issue and they might have a potential fix. From the rep:

In fact, as of right now as I was typing this message, I received confirmation that they are working on the issue and we have a potential fix available. We still have to confirm internally that the fix works, and that it doesn't introduce any other major issues before releasing it to the public, but we are definitely working on a solution.

Marathon - Impressions after free weekend.

I have 12 hours during the free weekend. My main point is - this is a very good example of overhated game. I’m not sure why people hate it so much. Maybe because there is not enough hype for some, or gameplay is too punishing for them, maybe because it’s not Destiny 3, idk, but it does not make sense as game is actually good.

Marathon is very unique game. It feels little weird at first but if you give it a chance and try to understand the game loop and mechanics it kicks in. The art direction, sound, music, gunplay and atmosphere - these are strong sides of the game. I’m gamer and played a lot of different genres including other extraction shooters. Marathon is a strong contender and good addition to the genre.

And sure, there are things to improve. My main issue is amount of content. I would really want to see more maps and in-game events/modes. That’s a part of a healthy live service game. And of course I hope they won’t give up on it due to missing expectations in terms of profit. Hopefully more people will try it and realize that it’s a good game. I would like to see more people, more content and the game to succeed in a long run.
