New Vs Existing Customers Fiber Pricing
Crazy world we live in. Ran into this crazy scenario, one of my internet lines , agreement expired , 1Gbps went to 140$+20$(unlimited feature). So 160$ ++ tax etc. Well if you look at their website under plans , you can see 1Gbps ( after deselecting 2 Year option , pre-auth debit - 105/month - i do have the telus mob discount applied ). And people will tell you that's for new customers , sure it's for new customers if you apply the 2 year discount i would think and they might get some promo , but where do exactly current customers see the pricing listed as i went to that link after loggin into my account . Their best offer ( as a 3rd internet line in 2026 is 85$ ). Now if you read the fine print at the bottom of their Terms & Conditions you will notice it applies to New & Existing Customers . So Telus likes to scam a bit in the back end and charge people who do not notice 30% more if they can. Who else has experienced this ? Maybe it's time for a change.
