I just replaced the screen of this samsung galaxy a16, I do not know if the screen worked before, as when I got it the screen was already broken to the point it wouldn't turn on at all. This is why I don't know either its a doa screen or something else.

The issue is; samsung logo comes up, screen goes off. Phone is still on as it still makes sound when I disconnect / connect the charger when its on.
