Need help figure out my next setup
My current setup is shit. It's a suitcase turntable which I got as a gift and a Marshall Acton III. I had the money to buy the Edifier R1280DB, but my ass thought I would be really different by not getting Hi-fi, and punching the sound through a single cone would be alt. And don't get me wrong, some of the records really sounded better. But it definitely cannot do AIC or Deftones. Or even Linkin Park for that matter. Anything with major distortion gets clipped.
So, I've done my research. And this is what I'm thinking:
Pro-Ject E1 Phono with Q Acoustics M20HD.
The reason I'm going with the M20 is that I also game, and I currently do not have space/budget to add a soundbar to my shelf. I'd rather find one set of output and use that.
I thought of going for the Klipsch R-51PM, but it's $200 more than what I'm getting the M20HD for.
