Bank of America ATM Ate My 1k Deposits.

On July 1, I went to my local Bank of America ATM to deposit $1,930 in cash, which I was planning to use for my rent and other living expenses. While the ATM was counting my money, an error message suddenly appeared asking me to estimate how much cash was missing. The ATM then printed a receipt, but it never gave my money back.
When I checked my Bank of America app, I saw that only $900 of my $1,930 deposit had been credited to my account. That means $1,030 is still missing.
I went inside the bank right away to ask for help, but they told me there was nothing they could do at the branch and that I had to call the number on the receipt. I called, and the representative helped me file a claim, but they said the investigation could take up to 45 days.
I’m really stressed because that money was meant to pay my rent and cover my living expenses. As a college student, I can’t afford to wait that long or pay late fees because of an ATM error.
I know I you should deposit large amount of cash with a teller, but I was in a rush that day and decided to use the ATM instead. I never expected something like this to happen. What should I do now?
