Jjjjound 1890 tax problem
Hi everyone,
I recently purchased the new JJJJound x New Balance 1890.
I live in the Netherlands and paid $48,30 in estimated taxes (21% VAT) during checkout.
However, I’ve now received a message from DHL asking me to pay around €100 in import duties and taxes before they will deliver my package.
It appears that JJJJound shipped the order as DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid), despite charging taxes at checkout.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, were you able to get a refund for the taxes you paid at checkout, or did JJJJound explain what those “Estimated Taxes” actually covered?
