New Record in most Free Throws attempted in a Single Greek Basket League game by a single team

https://www.gazzetta.gr/basketball/basket-league/2574293/promitheas-peristeri-88-94-antexe-stin-patra-kai-o-nikols-ton

Promitheas-Peristeri 88-94 with 48 free throws shot by Promitheas broke the free throwing records.

Promitheas, whose owner is the president of the Greek Basketball Federation, Evangelos Liolios, broke their own record that it got last year against Aris with 46 free throws.

Note: Greek Basketball League records are quite difficult to find so I am trusting last year's Aris social media posts that this is a new record and I have not found anything in Google to contradict it. If it turns out I am wrong, feel free to correct me.

According to Aek365 before the game against Aris, Promitheas 2014, the second team of Promitheas holded the record for most free throws in Greek Basketball Leagues with 45 free throws in a game against Kronos in NL1 (Kronos shot only 5 in that game. ) . I couldn't find whose record Promitheas 2014 broke it.

Ukraine - Greece 82-76

Shame, just shame and humiliation... .

Expecting everything from Calathes at this age, underestimating Ukraine to the point of starting the game with Netzipoglou and with a rotation of almost everyone playing as if we were winning by 20 while at some point losing by 14... .

Third straight loss and goodbye world cup, maybe in the next qualifiers Calathes would lead us there... .

Poor Olympia

During the game between Slovenia and Greece, the camera caught this funny interaction between Olympia and Vasillis Spanoulis after their son, Thanasis Spanoulis, shot an airball.

Serbia-Greece 77-78 U18 EuroBasket

After having a lot of complains against France, Greece beat Serbia in U18 EuroBasket.

Excited to see how Chatzilabrou does in Aris this year. Unlikely that he would take Eurocup minutes but hopefully he would get some minutes in the Greek League

When it is already 13th of July in most of Pacific Islands yet no updates

Note: For legal purposes, this is a joke.

As exciting as everyone else and wanted to make a Pacific Islands joke. Unless Clear troll us with a message of Keta talking about patience Captain America style, then I open a pitchforks and torches shop.

Maximum 45 hours left if I am correct with timezones ( probably not ) .

When you think you know someone... .

There has been more people suprised from the fact that he wasn't supposed to be in charge of Promitheas... .

Even Wikipedia lists him as the owner lmao.

Tray Lyles to Timberwolves

After a long insistance of journalists that Tray Lyles somehow is signing to Panathinaikos, the former Real Madrid player has signed for Timberwolves in the NBA.

Decision by DEAB for Nunn-Jones. 100K fine to Jones and 50K fine to Nunn while both teams are punished with a game without fans.

Business like always

FIBA Europe's president, who was in favour of nationalities making transfers also approves of this message.

Ataman left the interview room early after being asked by a journalist about his past comments about leaving Panathinaikos if he didn't win the Euroleague

As posted by the Panathinaikos official media account:

> During the fourth quarter of Game 2, a Valencia Basket security guard insistently demanded that Panathinaikos’ BC AKTOR athlete Nikos Rogkavopoulos sit back on the bench, even grabbing him by the arm, an action clearly beyond his jurisdiction. This was just one of many incidents involving security personnel at the Roig Arena, all of which we have officially reported to the EuroLeague.
