Successful intrauterine pregnancy from same tube as ectopic treated with MTX

I had an ectopic pregnancy in the right tube of January this year - luckily had nonstop bleeding that cued me in immediately that something was wrong. It was caught early enough and successfully treated with one round of MTX. It did take quite some time to get back down to 0 HCG (started at 500 something the day I got MTX). I did not get my cycle back until the end of March.

Elected not to have further testing performed. I had no risk factors for an ectopic and 2 prior successful pregnancies without difficulties conceiving. Just wanted to see what would happen. Successfully conceived on the 3rd cycle.

Waiting for the placement scan at 6 weeks was a killer mentally. But the little dot was in the right place and the tech was fairly certain that I had ovulated from the right side (and most presumably traveled down the right tube). I'm now into my second trimester with everything looking well thus far and thankful that I work right next to the OBGYN with all of the appointments and testing this year...

Recurrent Thyroid Issues in Pregnancies - already over it

Small rant.

Starting second trimester with baby #3 - low TSH 0.03, normal T4, elevated T3.

I had subclinical hyperthyroidism with my first pregnancy - no treatment, but repeat testing throughout and meetings with MFM and endo. I had a ton of testing performed - no Graves, only one small nodule that was not concerning. Numbers returned quickly to normal postpartum and remained so even during second pregnancy fortunately. I was discharged from the endo office with only yearly testing with my PCP to monitor.

However, these are the worst numbers I've ever had.. I am being referred out again to endo. I'm just already exhausted knowing the number of tests and appointments to follow...

Why are some people so sensitive to pregnancy related-thyroid issues?? Anyone else go through strictly pregnancy-only hyperthyroidism?
