Please help troubleshoot dometic compressor fridge in my new campervan
I just bought my campervan on Friday, it’s in good condition, cared for and low mileage. I had an inspection done before sale which said power was ok but he suggested to get a new leisure battery. The inspection guy isn’t a fan of compression fridges but did not say it wasn’t working. They both told me the drive back would charge the leisure battery and fridge would work but even now plugged into my mains it still isn’t working.
The seller is happy to cover any repair cost as they understood it to be working. So I’m here trying to troubleshoot it before taking it anywhere.
I have a Sargent EC50 control panel with a EC155 power supply unit and one lion leisure battery.
The fridge is silver fronted crx compressor fridge. Despite having the van plugged into my mains it hasn’t kicked in and this light is still flashing so it has power but something not right. Could this be a fuse issue or is it likely to need replacing? Sorry for lack of knowledge this is my first van and I want to ensure it’s all working so I can go away with my girl and our picnics.
