2009 Cobalt LT 2.2 // 186k miles
To note, single owner...my parents bought it new, gifted it to me. Timing chain was replaced around 100-120k miles can't remember for sure...other than that no other major repairs. Dad was always on top of oil changes and stuff with it.
What I've done so far:
-Replaced entire front suspension
-oil cap (was leaking)
-valve cover/plug gaskets
-Brake cylinder, evap cannister... finally got all my service lights off.
Now the focus is longevity... what is typically the make or break on these bad boys when it comes to them surviving to 300k miles? What else should I pay attention to to prevent potential failures and should just go ahead and replace now?
Car has sentimental value and my goal is to make it to 300k and start using it as my daily commuter.
