I would like some input on Bronze/Copper age books to check out.

Hello, everyone. I'm in the middle of a big Bronze/Copper age kick and I'm having a blast. I'm currently reading Fantastic Four (currently on vol 3) and New Teen Titans. I want to checkout some more books from this time period and I would like some recommendations and input.

Here's some series I'm thinking about looking into:

  1. Captain America starting from Vol 2 and up

  2. Justice League of America Bronze age

  3. Tomb of Dracula

  4. Luke Cage

I already have a few volumes of Uncanny X-men and I know Spider-man from this time period is all oop.

How do y'all feel about the books I selected? Any other series I should checkout?

Thanks in advance.

*UPDATE* on getting my sister a Switch 2 as an early birthday gift.

Hello, Everyone. A little over a week ago, I made a post about getting my sis an early birthday gift that included a Switch 2, Pokemon Legends ZA, Pokopia and a few other accessories. I'm attaching a link here for reference. https://www.reddit.com/r/Switch/comments/1t0bglo/i_got_my_sister_an_early_birthday_gift_im_really/ A few people asked me to post an update when I give it to her and here it is!

I spent the past weekend with her and her Mom and it was a blast! After I got to their place, my sis and I went out to do some errands and grab dinner. After we got back, I sat her down and started the gifting process. I gave her a birthday card first and she loved all the stupid puns I wrote in there. Then it was time for presents. I gave each thing one by one. First it was the memory card and then Legends ZA. When I took out Pokopia, that's when she started to connect the dots and freaked out. I lastly brought out the Switch 2 and she started screaming my name following up with - "WHY?! WHY?!! NOOOOO!!!"

Then she went back to screaming my name. I told her that it was okay and that I traded in my Xbox which covered the majority of the costs. She does not like it when I spend a lot of money on her to begin with but the trade offer was too good to pass up. After I told her that I spent around $150 or so out of pocket, that's when she started to calm down. She told me that if I did spent the full price on everything, she was gonna make me return it. lol

I was spared from verbal lashings and my body came out in one piece so it was win-win situation for everyone! We went to gamestop the following day and she found a copy of Super Mario 3D All-Stars. She bought it and spent the weekend playing Mario Sunshine. *It was her first Mario game if I remember correctly*

I showed her my original post and she was so touched. She had a big smile while going through the comments. Especially at the folks who wanted to be my sibling. She says thank you for the kind words and she may go through the comments here after I post this update.

I also want to say thank you to everyone who commented on the previous post and, Sis. If you're reading this. You're awesome and amazing! Enjoy Mario and Pokemon.

Love, Bro.

I'm really excited and I just wanted to post about it. Only my roommate knows and now will the people who might come across this post. I wanna praise my sis for a bit. She's the best person I know. She works really hard and she doesn't usually splurge on herself. She is also an AVID Pokemon fan and she's sent me videos of really cool islands and towns on Pokopia.

Thanks to Gamestop's trade in deals, I traded in my Series X and snagged a Switch 2 for a decent price. I'll be visiting my sister next week and she's gonna flip her lid. She might beat me up while she's at it too. Lol.

A bit of an edit

I wanna say thank you for your kind words. I'm not that good at expressing myself and sometimes it's really hard to find my words. My sis has always been patient with me and shows me nothing but love and support. I will share this post with her next week and report back with her reaction. My shoulders and kindeys ache for it's eventual downfall but it will be totally worth it. Thanks again :)

Hello, everyone. I need help with planning a budget for my trip next year. I'm gonna try my best to keep things brief but I used to live in Brooklyn as a kid. My dad was also from Brooklyn. He passed away 27 years ago and I finally found his cemetery which is about a 30 minute drive outside of New York.

I'm planning for a week long stay next year. I may do a few touristy things but it won't be the main point of my trip. I already have pricing for plane tickets from my state but I need help with what to aim for as far as hotel and food pricing. Any advice would be amazing.
