so basically today i was in a trading server and there was this person with a bunch of high tiers announcing that they were quitting and if you trusted them with your pets they would 'duplicate' when you traded them back again. the scammer obviously didnt duplicate, but with about 20 people they indeed did give back about 2x worth of what was given. (for example, kangaroos, cows, mid tier neons and megas)
im not sure whats wrong with my luck but when i got traded i put in my r dragonfruit fox, chocolate dutch guinea pig and i think my mega ride ox. when i traded them again, they said to make the trade fair i had to add my mega mochi meow and mega ride gumball caterpillar. at this point i was really starting to doubt but i was worried that they wldnt give me my other pets back if this provoked them so i did. then they basically just declined all my trades.
i know that i was stupid to trust them and i shldnt have, but for a lot of people then it indeed increased their inv by like 2x. not sure how luck made it my way like this but i thought they were quitting and because they actually traded so many people. i have reported the scam and made sure it was very detailed to the 500 word extent.
does anyone think i have hopes of getting those pets back? its fine if theyre untradeable i like them and never really planned to trade them anyway, but i worked hard for those pets and if theres not a high chance of the trade getting reverted i think quitting adm wld be my best option. i guess this is a sign to get rid of my addiction anyway.
its my fault for trusting and i shouldnt have tried my luck but oh well just seeking some advice from the experienced ive only joined this year.
