Is this 29-night Seabourn cruise a good way to see Japan?

https://www.seabourn.com/en/gb/find-a-cruise/o6i24a/7671a Hi everyone I'm considering the 24-night Seabourn Encore Japan itinerary which visits a lot of different ports around Japan. For those who have done a similar cruise, did you feel it gave you a good experience of Japan or did it feel more like rushing between ports and ticking places off a list? overall would you recommend this type of cruise for a first trip to Japan, or would you be better spending the same amount of time travelling around independently?
