OYO or Air bnb which one is safe for couples

Hey everyone, I’m 18+ and my girlfriend is 19. We’re an interfaith couple and planning to spend some private time together in Indore. Our main concerns are safety, privacy, and avoiding any unnecessary issues.

We’re considering either an OYO/couple-friendly hotel or Airbnb, possibly for a few hours.

  1. Which would you recommend for better safety and privacy — OYO or Airbnb?
  2. Have couples faced any moral policing or problems at check-in in Indore?
  3. I’ve seen news about hidden cameras being found in hotels/short-stay properties — is this something we should realistically be concerned about in Indore?
  4. Any specific precautions or things to check before booking?

Is this OBC certificate valid for CAT/IIM admissions (NC-OBC)? Please help.

Hi everyone,

I'm preparing for CAT and wanted to confirm whether my OBC certificate is acceptable for CAT registration and IIM admissions.

Details:

  • State: Madhya Pradesh
  • Issued by: Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue)
  • Category mentioned: Caste Certificate of Other Backward Classes
  • Caste: Pinjara
  • It explicitly states that I do not belong to the Creamy Layer (Non-Creamy Layer).
  • It also mentions my family's annual income (₹40,000).

I have attached the certificate (with personal details hidden).

My questions are:

  1. Is this certificate valid for claiming the NC-OBC category in CAT?
  2. Or do I need a Central Government OBC-NCL certificate in the CAT/IIM prescribed format?
  3. If a new certificate is required, when should I apply for it?

Need honest advice: Should I prepare for CAT 2026?

  • No full-time work experience yet

I know my 10th score is weak, but my academics improved significantly afterward. Considering my profile and category, is CAT worth pursuing?

  1. What percentile should I target for old IIMs, CAP IIMs, and other top B-schools?
  2. How much will the 58% in 10th hurt my chances?
  3. What are my realistic MBA options if I score 95+, 98+, or 99+ percentile?
