Hi!

I live in the US and am studying in Milan for one year. I have severe ADHD. I am 24 but have been receiving treatment for it since I was 7. I have tried other medications but Vyvanse has worked best for me. I am going to bring a bottle of my medicine with me. Doing research I found that Vyvanse isn’t prescribed in Italy. I’ve spoken with my psychiatrist and she doesn’t believe that the other types would work well for me. I am worried because Vyvanse has been very beneficial for me.

What’s the best way to get a prescription abroad. Would it make sense to see a psychiatrist in Switzerland? Also, what documents should I bring when seeing a psychiatrist abroad (ex: diagnosis, records)?
