What are your experiences with these scholarships?
Hello! I'm a high school graduating student, interested in studying abroad. I'm inquiring about the experience of those who have been accepted to this international scholarships or if you are knowledgeable, your insight is also appreciated. I'm a student with consistent general average of 96, holds the position of president in the school student council as well as the president of the division federation SSLG. I have experience in research and debate competition, reaching the regional levels of the research competition last year. I am also affiliated with local youth sectors (such as the SK). Anyways, here are the international scholarships I'm eyeing/planning to apply for:
MEXT scholarship in Japan
Lester B. Pearson in University of Toronto
Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship
Stipendium Hungaricum in Hungary
And my questions are:
What are the general requirements that I would need to prepare as soon as possible?
What kind of examinations do they require?
What was the hardest part of the applying process for you (as a recipient of the scholarship) and why?
Would you actually recommend it to others? Why or why not?
How was your adjustment in the country as an international scholarship student?
In your evaluation of the environment there, what are my chances of being accepted?
For the MEXT, Manaaki, and Stipendium Hungaricum, what are the universities that are under the program? Which one do you recommend and why?
Would you recommend that I finish my entire medical education in that specific country?
How was the learning environment of your chosen university (Your peers, the school personnel, the required competency, etc) and how is it different from the Philippines?
(Na para bang quiz eh.) Further suggestions for a fully-funded international scholarships will also be appreciated. Thank you for your responses!
