Hi everyone,

I had major trauma in my left eye 6months back at age of 26 .Now that this has sunk and looks terrible,Doctor has suggested enucleation and prosthetic eye . They say current eye is not stable for prosthetic shell as of now.. Should I wait for this to stabilize and go for prosthetic shell over this eye or get this eye enucleated and use prosthetic eye?

What are side effects of enucleation?Will I regret doing that?
