Late period on Topamax
Hi everyone!
I’m sorry this might be a little tmi! But I (20 F) just recently started topamax for my migraines. My neurologist started me on 25 mg but I’m slowly increasing to 100 mg. Right now I’m only at 50mg (25mg twice daily).
I’ve read all the horror story’s of this drug and, luckily, I haven’t experienced any bad side effects yet. Expect that my, typically pretty regular, period is now 10 days late. I’m not on any birth control and there’s zero chance of pregnancy so this is very odd for me.
I was just wondering if any one else experienced this and if anything helped? Both my doctor and neurologist are really hard to get an appointment with and this feels too minor to make an appointment over. I kinda just wanna know that I’m not alone in this side effect.
