My brother and I built a daily movie connection game over the past few years. We'd love some feedback from movie nerds.

Hey everyone!

My brother and I are huge movie fans, and over the last few years we've been building a free game called The Film Connect.

The idea is simple: you start with a movie and have to connect it to an unrelated actor by going through different filmography and casts (kind of like Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon, but with thousands of movies and actors).

For example:

Oppenheimer → Florence Pugh → Dune: Part Two → Timothée Chalamet

The goal is to find the shortest path between a movie and an actor.

It's definitely aimed more at movie enthusiasts than casual viewers, and that's intentional. We play it every day ourselves and are always trying to improve it.

We're not selling anything, there are no subscriptions or ads. We'd genuinely love feedback from people who know movies better than we do.

You can check it out here:
https://thefilmconnect.app/

Some things we'd especially love feedback on:

  • Is the difficulty in a good spot?
  • What features would make you come back every day?
  • Does anything feel confusing or frustrating?

Thanks for checking it out!

Hey everyone!

My brother and I are huge movie fans, and over the last few years we've been building a free game called The Film Connect.

The idea is simple: you start with two movies and have to connect them using actors who appeared in both films (kind of like Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon, but with thousands of movies and actors).
