Lars and the real Girl made me feel sadness, care, and hope. It's an emotional masterpiece. Lars played by Ryan Gosling is an introverted man who works 9 to 5 and comes back to the garage of his parents' house which is now his home. He lives with his brother and sister in law who live in the house. Lars finds it difficult to make connections and so doesn't like to interact much with others. It's so difficult for him to make relationships work. He buys a sex doll to cope from his inability to establish close relationships and gets so engaged into the play that he starts believing that the doll is a real person. He names her Bianca. Everyone at first thinks that Lars has become mental because of his condition but as time passes everyone in his town works together to bring Lars' life back on track. Everyone cannot see Lars be with Bianca for the rest of his life but also cannot break his heart by telling him that she's a doll and he has gone crazy. The way everyone behaves with Lars to make him feel like he's normal is really wholesome. The story is so well written that you really tear up when Lars cannot put himself together. Tears ran down my eyes when Lars found Bianca unconscious.
I'd say this is Ryan Gosling's finest performance till now. My man was not a "literally me" cool character but it felt like he was Lars himself. Lars' family really felt like Lars' family. It seemed like the actors weren't acting but we're genuinely a family. I really want to say so much but don't have enough words to express myself. I'd give it an 8.5/10.
Homelander did not deserve to die like that😭 look how they massacred my boy. Him taking V1 did not do anything to the story. What about Butcher saying "run" and then facing him like he doesn't dear him. 6/10
The Boys Season 5 pushes the series deeper into chaos as Homelander’s growing delusions, Billy Butcher’s relentless mission, and the rise of dangerous new Supes threaten to tear the world apart. With freedom camps, shocking cameos, brutal action, and major character shifts, the latest season delivers one of the darkest and most unpredictable chapters yet for fans of the hit superhero satire.
So those who were saying that the trailer for Spider-Man Brand New Day is gonna be released today where is it
Good episode but still not satisfied. Still not showing what Homelander is really capable of now. They only have one episode to conclude this whole thing. I'm a bit worried now.
I'm just writing this because this movie came to my mind randomly. I've never re-watched this ever. But as far as I can remember I enjoyed this one a lot. One afternoon I was just chilling and I opened prime video and saw jenna Ortega in the poster of this movie and I clicked immediately. I knew nothing about what the movie was about besides that it included sex. This was a weird, thrilling, and new experience for me. I've never been a fan of gore. As far as I remember it's about a girl who has gone out on a farm to shoot a porno with few friends ig. There's the old wife of the old farm owner who kinda looks like Mia Goth and when she sees the porno shoot she gets aroused and then goes crazy and tries to kill everyone in her way. One of the scene fromthus movie is so gross and weird that I cannot help but write about it. The bed scene when Mia Goth is under the bed of the old couple.
I watched this one back in 2023 and I just felt like writing about this movie. I did my best to describe what happens in the movie without spoiling anything . Give it a try. 7/10.
Let me know your thoughts on this one.
I just finished watching Sand Help, directed by Sam Raimi, starring Rachel McAdams and Dylan O'Brien. It was awesome. I had a great time. The movie was a bit long, but it never felt slow. The plot was kind of predictable probably because I’ve seen so many films but I was still hooked the whole time. I kept imagining myself in a survival situation like being stranded somewhere and I thought about all the survival tips from movies I’ve watched. The tension, pacing, and acting were all great. Raimi’s mix of gore, horror, and dark comedy was perfect. If you like his style or survival movies, you need to see this. I loved it and I think you'll love it too.
I’ve been revisiting Wong Kar-wai’s filmography, and honestly, In the Mood for Love has got to be my personal favorite. The visuals, the music, the subtle tension, and the way every frame feels like a painting… it’s just unmatched.
I’d love to hear what your favorite Wong Kar-wai film is and why. Is it the romance of In the Mood for Love, the raw emotion of Fallen Angels, or something else entirely?
For me: Fleabag at this moment ( though a series but it is what it is) - also tell me something similar to fleabag, want to watch and relate and cry and do whatsoever in my bed
Ballerinas stranded in a Budapest mob bar, fighting their way out using only their dance training. Pretty Lethal is exactly as good as that sounds and then some.
