I got my oil changed today on my 2012 Honda Pilot. They used 0w-20 synthetic blend. I have 107k miles on it. Is this bad? Should it have been full synthetic? Should I get it done again elsewhere today?
I seem to have developed perioral dermatitis (PD) around one of my eyes (including the eyelid) and around my nose/upper lip after damaging my skin barrier. I think the trigger was sunscreen, but my barrier was already compromised from overusing tretinoin.
I started zero therapy on June 30 and only added a few daily sprays of hypochlorous acid a few days ago. So far, I haven’t seen much improvement. The redness seemed to decrease during the first week of zero therapy, but since then there hasn’t been any significant change. I still get an occasional new bump.
Is this a normal timeline for PD to improve with zero therapy? For those of you who recovered without antibiotics, how long did it take before you noticed meaningful improvement? I’d really like to avoid taking antibiotics if possible.
