Hey all, I recently had the chance to train with some guys from the RCMP and it pushed me to pursue a career with them after my time in the military.

They told me it would be ok to apply 24 months out as the process is usually 12-16-18 months approx. as I would like to take their word for it, is there a chance my file gets deferred or closed should I get an offer within the next 12 months while still being under contract for another year hypothetically.

Does anyone know if you can request a certain day to begin depot due to obligations being under contract with the CAF ?

Hi all, I am at the very beginning stages of the application currently waiting for the presentation & assessment per the email it said I should receive it within 30 days but it is normal for it to be longer than 30 days before I receive it ?

Hey everyone, I am current military ( combat arms ) I am looking to transition the the RCMP. I filled out an application on GC Jobs and the questions were extremely straight forward, nothing in depth or nothing in regards to employment history or anything like that.

Is that it.. now do I wait for someone to contact me with further instructions ?
