LifeLogging App: LifeTally - hoping for your feedback and review

Hey everyone! Long-time lurker, first-time poster here. I've been building a lifelogging app called LifeTally and wanted to share it with this community specifically, since you're the people who'd actually stress-test it.

https://apps.apple.com/ph/app/lifetally/id6788512911

The idea: no folders, no tags, no rigid structure - you just write opr voice log a line whenever something happens ("had coffee with Dad," "finished Atomic Habits," "called Bob"), by text or voice. Over time it turns into a searchable record of small (or big) memories your life, and you can ask it things like "when did I last call my mom?" or "how many coffees did I have last month?" and it pulls the answer straight from your logs. It basically becomes a database of the micro moments you log so overtime it becomes more powerful.

I'd genuinely love feedback from people who already do some form of lifelogging - what's missing, what would make this useless for your workflow vs. what might actually replace what you're using now. Happy to answer anything about how it works under the hood too.

Would welcome you testing the app and rating it too!

Need Suggestions - Cheat day?

Hi there - GDM dad here again.

So we got invited to a dear friend’s sendoff party this weekend and my wife is considering not going because of the food temptation and fear of killing the mood by not eating at all. But I know she badly WANTS to go.

My head says we should go, and even allow her to do somewhat of a cheat day to enjoy a moment with our friends who’s moving countries without feeling guilty or bad about it.

What have you guys done in this situation?

Grocery Hits Different These Days

GDM Dad here.

Me and my wife went to buy groceries this morning and I saw her put back a snack she was craving after looking into the nutrition label for a good 10 mins. I saw her reaction and my heart sank.

GDM does change these little snippets of happiness doesn't it? :(

So we had another check up but this time - we ended up with some scary news.

Our numbers were doing okay, some days were high but we were getting by alright. But since my wife was feeling ultra itchy the last couple of days, Doctor ran some tests and now we are waiting to see if she has CHOLESTASIS??? Anyone here ever encountered this? I mean it sounded pretty scary and what it can do to our baby. :(

On a side note, as we are struggling to find an app that would work well for my wife - meaning something easy enough to use and for her to not feel like “being forced” to track her numbers there so she will actually use it everyday, I decided to build one of my own. More to come on this. But wanted to find out if anyone would be interested to use an app specific to GDM and how mommas feel - not just a tracking app.

Quick update from a GDM dad here, just wanted to say thank you to everyone who commented on my last (my first) post. It really helped.

We’ve started settling into a routine now, and I figured I’d share a couple things that helped us in case it helps someone else:

- Writing down meals + blood sugar made patterns easier to see

- Walking after meals actually made a noticeable difference + having a good talk during walks.

- Trying to keep snacks ready prevented those “what can I even eat??” moments

Still early days, but it feels a bit less chaotic now.

One thing I’m still struggling with is keeping everything organized (readings, meals, notes). Right now it’s kind of all over the place.

How are you guys tracking everything? Notebook? App? Just memory?

Sorry - dont really have anyone to talk to. I honestly dont even want to tell my wife about my worries so she just thinks I'm all chill and not freaking out inside all the time too.
