UK 2027 Graduate CV Review

Final-year Economics student at a top 10 UK university currently applying for 2027 graduate roles, mainly across investment banking and capital markets, with an ideal role in leveraged finance.

Would appreciate some honest feedback on my CV. How competitive does it look for UK graduate recruitment, and is there anything you would change, remove or present differently?

Please be critical. Thanks.

For context, the anonymised bank is a global European bank.

How likely are the cylinder issues on the A35?

Hi - I am 21 years old and was thinking of purchasing an A35 for my final year of university. I am only planning to hold it for around 9 months before selling it as I want a car to enjoy a bit before I graduate.

The A35s I’m looking at are the 19/20/21 years with around under 60k miles. I wouldn’t want to spend more than ~22k overall.

After researching, I have seen the engine’s in the A35 have an issue with the cylinder going wrong, sometimes requiring a full engine rebuild.

How likely is this to happen, and should I avoid buying one in general?
