Hi there
I’m in the middle of rebuilding the engine on my Mitsubishi Pajero 2.8TD. The original cylinder head is cracked/warped beyond repair, so I need to replace it and I’m stuck between two options:

**1.	Buy a new aftermarket AMC cylinder head** — brand new, ready to bolt on, but obviously not OEM.  
**2.	Source a used OEM head from a scrapyard/junkyard** and have it professionally rectified (skimmed, pressure-tested, valves/seats redone, etc.) before installing.

For those who’ve done this swap or rebuild before:
What do you suggest is the best option. Thank you

Hey everyone, I’m dealing with some cooling system headaches on my 1999 Pajero 2.8L (4M40). My old coolant hoses are starting to cause problems and need replacing.

Recently, after one of the hoses leaked and I refilled the system with water, the car has started pushing the coolant from the radiator straight back into the expansion tank/reservoir. Has anyone dealt with this specific issue before? Could it just be an airlock or a bad radiator cap, or should I start worrying about the head gasket?

Also, does anyone have good recommendations on where to source a reliable set of new hoses online? Thanks in advance for the help!
