I’m currently trying to build up my resume and portfolio. What kind of projects can I work on right now to maximize my chances of an interview at big tech firms for a mechanical engineering/mechanical design position ?
I am currently an Engineering Project Management intern at one of the worlds biggest nuclear plants. I am eyeing all the engineering project manager (EPM) roles in FAANG companies for when I graduate. What personal projects can I work on to help me get through, any advice on what my resume MUST have ?

Investing - If you were in my position, how would you invest the extra cash to maximize long-term growth?
I am thinking of putting all my savings in XEQT and SOXX. Is that logical?
What would you prioritize if you were 22 and starting from this position?
