This was one of the first times I tackeled the shading style of Skullgirls. It's not perfect but I'm still pretty impressed with how close I got.

Seriously tho, I had a lot of fun making these at the time. Also doing a little voice claim for Giorgio as it just hit the right spot for what I envision him to sound like, same for Angela. Drawing Ottomo and Skulldudes Samsom was also pretty great.

So, I remember looking at some old as hell lore notes that I don't know if they're still legit or not, and one of them said that Carol wasn't her only friend, so I thought: "Ah, sitcom looking friend group it is". In front of you are three official characters and three OCs (perfect balance).

On the left we have Shiloh (Skullheart aficionado) and Giorgio (Pre-Hamza)

On the right we have one of the coolest looking background students from Mapplecrest (which I named "Warrent" for convinience) and Filia (Pre-Samson)

And right in the middle we have Carol (Filia's bestie) and Emeric (Giorgio's bestie, although he went through a slight personality change after this drawing was made, he is still the comic relief of the group)

As you can see, Gio and Fil aren't getting along that well, I'd say give them some time. Some friendships start with heated insults.

Okay let me explain these artworks cuz sone of them kinda confusing out of context:

Art 1: There was a artwork going around Twitter featuring Parasoul opening a hotdog stand, figured it would be fun to draw something about that.

Art 2: Rachel Wong talking about her frustrations with work to Tadashi Miyako (Judgenight's civil identity).

Art 3: This is the aftermath of a fight between much younger Parasoul and Walter, I won't say much about it right now, but that's basically it.

Art 4: Shiloh (another OC of mine) showing her conspirancy theory to Filia, who's pretty much speechless at what she's seeing in front of her (or just unfased by Shiloh's shenanigans).

Art 5: I figured that I had to give Lil'wulf some sort of connection with the Skullgirls cast, so I had the idea of him and Feng being childhood friends, this a sketch featuring them two years before Feng moved to the Canopy Kingdom to be a member of Cirque De Cartes.

Art 6: AND HERE COMES A GIANT SNOWBALL—

This was a little comic I made some years ago, where I tried to explain Valentine's redesign in-universe. Looking back, I feel like I shouldn't have added that dialogue in the end.

Cuz I got a good chunk of those, like a LOT. (Lil'wulf is more of a "honorary OC" given he's the beta design of Beowulf slightly altered to stand out on his own)

I wish I could go on and do a whole essay about these guys, but the energy for it is just not there unfortunately lol

First time drawing anything Star Fox related. The squad feels pretty empty without Miyu and Fay, and I can't explain why, I don't even play Star Fox 2 that much lol

I do plan to finish this later tho, so look forward to that.

Not much to elaborate here, just felt like drawing these two in a way that makes them look like a duo of "cool twins", also, word of advise, if you're making a design for Prince Gumball and it's not clicking with you yet, put a cape on him.
