Potential Winter Trip

Hi everyone, a family member recently mentioned that he’d be willing to give me some airline miles to make a trip up to Yellowknife this coming winter (December/January) as he knows it’s a dream trip of mine, and I was wondering what you guys might have for recommendations for the trip.
I’d be coming up with either my wife of my sister, I’m not sure, but I’d love to hear if anyone has any suggestions for what I could do while up there.
Also, is it possible to rent a vehicle in the area?
I’d be in town for probably 3-5 days, so I’d have plenty of time.
Any recommendations/suggestions would be greatly appreciated 😊

Pedestrian Hit By Car

A pedestrian was apparently struck by a car outside the trader joes on Marginal Way. I have no info on whether or not the person is ok.

eta: I spoke with some of the workers and they said that it looked like she didn’t make it. I can’t confirm nor deny, but from the damage to the car, it doesn’t sound good.

I caught the entire thing on my dashcam and I have filed a police report. I have also submitted a claim with your insurance.
