Does anyone know if there is any place one can buy the Penguin Great Ideas as a collection? My local store only sells them individually at a price of around 16$ per book (149NOK). That would make the entire collection cost over 1900$, which is ridiculous for (mostly) abridged versions. If there were collections that would result in 5$ per book or less I think it would be worth buying them for me.

I noticed a damage on my carbon frame and saw that even before a 1300km trip the damage was already there (though a bit smaller). I am wondering if the whole frame is wrecked now because of it or if it may just be a surface level damage that can be fixed affordibly. Here are some pictures, thanks!
Hi, I'm trying to amplify the signal from a photodiode to measure with an Arduino. Yesterday I tried out this circuit without the Arduino, using an external 3.3V power-supply and measuring the Voltage between where the Arduino would be and Ground. Expecting to measure a Voltage I got 0V, but when I turned the power supply off I got -0.3V (which I think is essentially a photodiode-resistor series circuit. Why is that, why does the voltage reduce and not increase with the amplifier here, what am I getting wrong? R=1k5 btw, all ground common. Thanks!
I'll be working with a 20mW 530nm Laser Diode and am thinking about Laser Safety. Though I am putting a OD 1 Filter right after the Laser, I still want to be safe for 20mW just in case. What OD rating would you guys recommend for glasses if any? I was looking at some from ThorLabs and not only are those expensive, but I'm a bit worried that if I have OD 6 glasses, I won't be able to see the point of the Laser anymore.
