[Discussion] Streamer’s instantly getting unbanned while the rest are ignored by support needs to be addressed.
There has been a problem recently where people are getting randomly permanently banned. To my knowledge it has happened to 2 streamers. Alle who was playing on an alt account to speedrun the new prestige’s and that account got banned on June 19th same day unbanned after messaging devs. And a streamer called Bhorse_ who is much smaller in comparison to Alle but he has played in eft tournaments before and thus has the ability to message devs. He got banned on July 6th and unbanned after 5 days. I do not know the “reason” that bsg gave Alle but I do know that for Bhorse that it was “circumvention tools and bots”. And historically LVNDMARK was given the same reason and unbanned in an hour a couple of years ago.
Now let’s pivot to those who are not streamers. People who have been false banned which at this point I assume is multiple per day in the last month (based on steam reviews and people messaging me) are sent into the support hell. 4-5 days for a single response which when it does come through is just a generic copy paste saying they can restrict access to anyone who breaks tos. All these players are given the same “reason” as Bhorse_ and yet there is no help to be given yet. No one else but streamers have been unbanned to my knowledge. I have personally been dealing with this since June 1st and what I do know it is not an IP or HWID ban. Clearly something strange is going on with the anti cheat as again from what I can tell there is no single pattern in play style. Programs. Parts. Anything that could give any amount of explanation to what is happening.
At one point there were multiple steam discussion posts all talking about the same false ban problem and despite that they removed and banned everyone from the steam discussion hub. At this point we need to ask ourselves why can streamers get problems solved instantly while normal people are completely ignored. Clearly bsg knows the bans are incorrect right? Why else would they unban streamers? Or do they not know when it’s correct and just assume streamers are innocent? Thus proving they know something is wrong but they have not fixed it for weeks now.
One last little gem. It’s happening so fast sometimes that people are able to still refund it on steam and we and all the people who play this game know that bsg does not deal with cheaters that fast.
I’m not looking for people to believe me or any sympathy, I KNOW I’m not a cheater and at this point bsg must know that this is a problem but has continued to ignore it. We as a community need to question this shit because why are real players getting banned and ignored while real cheaters are just running rampant on labs during this entire event???
TLDR: players are getting by false banned everyday and when it happens to a streamer who can message devs they get it resolved instantly but normal players are completely ignored forever.

Battleye has been 100% false banning players for months and bsg does not care.
So, to begin with the explanation on this one cause its quite a complicated one. 1st of June I was false banned, after many many many attempts to get support from bsg and being shot down every time I made a post about my false ban and the complete lack of help on the steam discussion forum and so did other people. At the same time there were 2 other posts all talking about the same error (202014) with the same emailed ban reason (circumvention tools and bots). Even more people were responding to my steam post saying they are also dealing with the same thing. At this point that was one of the first confirmations to me that im not the only one dealing with this and I was hopeful. At 2 AM my post was removed and I was told I was banned from the discussion board, soon as I look again tho my post was re added back and I was unbanned, in the replies the dev was asking for our in game names. I thought this was finally it! Someone at bsg finally took notice of all the people talking about the false bans and we finally can fix this! Nope. By 3:30 AM all the posts are now gone and we are all banned from the steam forum again. Now all I see is this.
So as of that sour note I did final one last google search attempt to figure out what is going on, somehow I have not seen this comment before but for the most part its the best explanation of whats going on I have seen on the entire internet is this:

Plenty of people were spamming the launcher and play button on release, and even after. This does not lead to a ban, so something else did. What, i can't say. It's not my department and so i can't even check. What i can tell you is that what you are describing likely isn't at fault for your ban."
So at this point I believe that Battleye has been and still is false flagging accounts and insta perma banning them for no reason. The experience and situations of almost all of the people are different, most have the game on steam myself included, some have had the game for thousands of hours while others have had the game for only 1 hour. One guy specifically was still able to refund the game because it happened so fast, 3 raids and he was gone. Now you look me straight in the face with confidence in either BSG or Battleye and tell me they are so good that they are accurately banning cheaters in tarkov before they even kill a player. This man says he had 2 raids both of which he died to scavs.
Look I know people want to doubt these types of posts but this has gone beyond just myself I think at this point I have seen over 20 different posts/reviews within just the last month talking about the same false ban and problem. And who knows how many people just keep this to themselves or simply dont care. Seeing how it can happen to people who just bought the game why would they?
This needs to be known to more people, you can be banned via some sort of bug or faulty detection system while you are literally doing nothing, no cheating, no botting, nothing. And in this situation BSG simply does not care a single bit. They will ignore all forms of communication, block you and shut you out.
I didnt cheat, none of these other guys are saying they cheated and I struggle immensely to believe that they are actually banning real cheaters as fast as these false bans are being handed out. Something is wrong with Battleye as of this very moment and if you get the 202014 error or even the 229 error which is the normal ban error and the reason says circumvention tools or bots bsg is no help and they do not care. Immediately file a support request with Battleye because they have still not responded to me or anyone else it could take months. I will most likely also make this same post on the eft subreddit but I assume the mods will be quick to take it down so I might wait. I dont think they would also ban me from the eft subreddit as well right? Its a miracle that I have not been banned from the eft discord yet because I did mention that im dealing with this error when other people were talking about dealing with it as well. Who knows.
What a great experience this has been after investing thousands of hours into this game. I can still play games with Battleye like Destiny 2 so it is not a normal Battleye global ban just something entirely related to Tarkov itself.
EDIT: well the post was immediately removed from the eft subreddit automatically with their automod. They probably have "false ban" as a trigger word to just completely ignore everyone. classic.

False Ban week 3 update post. 2 hours of clips from before my ban. Banned for ratting?
So, 2 weeks ago I made a post on this sub about me getting false banned and now its been 3 weeks. Im still banned and support still has not gotten back to me in any meaningful way. No response from battle eye but I expected that tbh no one gets replies from battle eye especially since this ban could not have been because of any program, I dont have anything at all on my computer like that. So because its not a battle eye ban they will never respond, there is 0 indication on my end that its a battle eye ban except for the fact that someone at bsg told tigz they dont believe me or him and that I have to appeal with battle eye.
I have basically been doing as much research and inspection as possible of other false bans since I made that post. Most things I have found have amounted to that I am most likely banned because someone I killed while ratting the Ice Breaker transit was mad that I killed them and rage manual reported me to bsg. Now I know people are always sus of these posts so I spent all day today just rendering and uploading a 2 and half hour video of every clip I took in the entire month of May. Clearly someone I killed in one of these clips had the ability to get anyone banned and that's the messed up part. If I am getting banned then it really opens up Pandora's Box and anyone can be false banned on the whim of someone who has connections to bsg. Be it a streamer a sherpa or even a dev. Say what you want about play styles or skill or whatever but the way I play 100% proves im not cheating. Watch the video and make your own opinion I implore you. link
If you say no one gets false banned there are plenty of examples of false bans over time to list a few, LVNDMARK got false banned with the exact same email that I got he verbatim reads it off, he then gets unbanned quickly. link
A guy got false banned after killing Rengawr, but then later got unbanned after the post gained immense traction in the main eft subreddit link
Similarly another guy got false banned when he killed Tigz, he has apologized for doing this but it still stands that he got someone false banned, again this person got unbanned only because it got traction on the main subreddit. And by the way the mods purged this one so the original post is not visible at all but the comments cover most of it. link Hell even appl3z0r responded to this post saying its more complex than a profile and a clip but clearly its nothing more than just an account name and a clip. All the streamers do it if you watch them.
Finally one of the only public Nikita unbans from twitter was this link Guy had the same ban reason as I do, 4.3.4 which again is just their generic ban reason. By all accounts this is the only public unban that wasn't related to a streamer. I do not know why this guy was banned but I have dm'd him on discord so ill add in any info later if he responds.
One other thing, the eft discord is the most toxic thing I have ever seen in my life, I have watched at least 3 people get immediately banned upon posting pictures of their ban error from the client. They even have dedicated members who will bait you into talking about your ban which in turn gets you banned. Very weird.
So TLDR I guess for this update post is that I am not cheating, never cheated, botted, lost access to my account and most likely got banned permanently for ratting someone who got mad I killed them. Go watch the 2 hours of footage if you dont believe me. Don't rat right now I guess cause you might just lose your 4k hour account. I might gamble and make a post on the main eft subreddit about this worst case it gets removed whatever because as it seems the only way to get unbanned after a false ban is do it on the main sub cause appl3z0r will see it and have to respond to the community lol. See yall in another 3 weeks or when im unbanned cause I will make the biggest post about this ever in history, this has genuinely made me sick to my core, so gross.

False Permanent Ban I need the community's help. Please read.
Gonna make this as quick and simple as possible.
Was ratting the Ice Breaker transit since the map came out.
1st of June at 8:45 am while my computer is off I get an email that im permanently banned from Tarkov.
Generic ban reason that Lvndmark got too when he was false banned btw
I never cheated I never used any programs I never botted there is nothing like that on my computer. I immediately messaged some twitch streamers that I have been subbed to for years and with hundreds of hours of watch time for help. I messaged Tigz (1.5 year sub with 3 weeks watch time) he immediately assumes that I got rage reported enough times and helps me.
(and dont message these guys unless you know that they know who you are, they trusted me cause im a repeat viewer for literal years)
This response literally is insane to me they dont believe Tigz, wild.
Similarly I messaged StankRat (3 years sub time with 5 months watch time)
They didnt even bother responding to him he just got fully ignored.
So now I just have two giant streamers vouching for me and they dont trust that at all, cool great ok. Then my initial support ticket I filled out 1 hour after I saw the ban email while in my car is just generically closed with a "we dont have to tell you why we banned you its in our TOS" message. great. ok.
So I fill out a battle eye support email still no response from them, I expect I will probably never get a response.
Ok, so I have all editions of the game even bought the game on steam to just support the game and have it on steam, cool, all the paid twitch drops and arena maps. 4k hours 1kd and a 50% s/r.
I have actively taken clips of me playing the game since 2022 with them amassing over a terabyte of storage.
This is just one folder, I have another hard drive from 2022 - 2024
I even have a clip of the literal last kills I got 5 hours before I got banned
So now im just stuck, so I thought well I guess I just have to just blindly try my chance in the twitter responses of the devs on twitter so I have been doing that.
Doing that, right? Then Domontovich blocks me
At this point I cant believe what is going on rn. Your telling me that he saw my plea for help in his reply's and instead of thinking about it at all he just blocks me. Unbelievable.
That pretty much brings me up to where I am now.
I have lots of posts on the main Tarkov subreddit on this account so you can go and look and see them but the only reason im posting here is because I can make this type of post here. I messaged the mods and they said its ok so thanks mods for responding. lots of posts about cheaters either accusations or posts about them being banned. I made a Youtube video basically going over the same things im talking about in this post just waiting for it to render rn ill edit the post with the link in like 10 mins. Please, dont just immediately assume im cheating, dont just say its deserved cause I was ratting. Something is horribly wrong with either battle eye or bsg's anti cheat if I have been permanently banned for literally doing nothing. Please read the post.
