In order to get access to the storyline and access to terminal in 1.0 update I have to wipe my character? I haven’t been able to do any story tasks this whole time, just side tasks. I feel like I’m just playing with no idea what the backstory is. I have about 352h playtime, but now that I have the gist of everything. Is resetting worth it?

I started playing PVE and it's perfect for me, it's challenging, I feel the rush when a team is chasing me, bosses are really hard and I hate pvp because of cheaters im lv 24 and I want to know your take on pve

I only play pve. Say what you will, Ill never compete with the people that play this. That said, I hop on after work for some factory raids. I find some cool guns, get some cool armor, every once in a while get bodied by tagilla. Ever since the update, its EVERY RAID. Tagilla is sniffing me out from the far corners or spawning right next to me. Im no pro, but I just went from being able to run 10+ raids with mid gear, to barely making it out of spawn with s tier gear. Its literally unplayable. Am I the only one thats noticed this? Did I just lose all my Tarkov skill overnight?

To increase performance i had the experience by downloading process lasso and change when the game is launched (in the list of tasks) everything GPU/CPU related to allways high.also setup process lasso correctly (google it = for gaming)

The 2nd step and i think this is the most important i changed the game to only use physical cores (i dont have multi threading (i5 6600k) so dont know if this makes sense on a higher end cpu.I also enabled ram cleaner.

Thbe biggest result gave me to change the textures in graphics options to medium and shadows to low.especially in SPT with mods like s.a.i.n. that brings multiple spawns of pmc´s and scavs there is desfinitely a big improvement.

Just purchased a new PC (7800X3D, 9070xt, 32GB of ram) and the game runs AMAZING… until I shoot. Then it completely drops to non existent frames. If anyone has any idea, please help 🥺 *FIXED!!*

Surprisingly enough, spawned in with a random PMC on my 5th terminal run. The dude had pretty much gone trough the gauntlet many more times than I have, so he knew the route to the boat very well.

We fought the last Black division trio on the pier, but my newly acquired friend was dehydrated, and before this, he offered the last water we found to me! We were running to the pier, and I wasn't sure we were gonna make it. He cheered me on and told me we will! I manage to run into the extract 1 second before it closes, and I'm pretty sure he didn't make it, as he was a couple meters behind me...

So I hope you see this wherever you are - Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Without you - I would not have Escaped from Tarkov. You and your knowledge absolutely carried my ass trough terminal!

I realize this is normal whine, but jesus the cheating problem has EXPLODED again after Nikita made it possible to prestige as a timmy.

Since, there are cheaters in many games, shooting ppl through walls and aimkeying... over the weekend it has been 50% of raids being totally owned by 1-2 cheaters in each lobby.

Im in northern EU, anyone else seeing the same?
