Love my R/T and sad to let it go

Me and the wife are making a move, had the R/T for a year and I'm about 6k in the green (got the thing for 21k it was an insane deal) but we're finding need for a truck more and more everyday and we don't need more than 2 cars. Saying bye and looking for a cheap probably single cab 22' Ram Classic . She served me well and I hate getting rid of her but we don't really see the value in keeping it.

Hey y'all, just wanted to ask if this truck is capable as a work vehicle. My father is looking to get into one to replace his '98 Ranger with 725k miles, non working cluster so you don't even know where you shifted or your speed, no AC (he's worked countless summers in this thing and he's never complained) and a floppy tailgate. He's a Contractor who does mostly flooring. He hauls, he tows, he packs the bed with heavy material all the time, thing is he's got a 2011 F350 for that stuff so the Maverick would be for smaller jobs like welding, or hauling a roll of linoleum, packing the bed with carpet tile boxes stuff like that but the best thing I'd love for him is to just be more comfortable he's 59 and still works himself like crazy. He commutes more than 100 miles a day just beepboppin around job sites so he's looking at the hybrid (gas prices yaddayadda diesel especially) Easy to look stuff up online but I wanted to get concentrated advice. (Also the Ranger would go back to Mexico to live out the rest of its days as a farm truck)
