I am learning film photography and I keep seeing people talk about the Canon AE-1. I want to know why it is so popular compared to other film cameras. Is it because it is easy to use or others? I would like to hear your experience if you have used it.
I recently finished my first roll with a Canonet QL17 GIII. Some photos came out clear, but many were blurry because I think I missed focus. I can see the rangefinder patch in the middle of the viewfinder, but I’m still confused or struggle to understand about how to know when the image is really in focus.
Did anyone else have trouble learning rangefinder focusing at first? Any tips or advice would be appreciated. Thanks
