I’m a new bassist with a couple months experience. I have been using a Glarry amp that came with my bass and it sounds terrible which I expected. Looking to upgrade to something budget friendly and used. I see multiple listings for V3 Fender Rumble 25s for ~$100 on Facebook marketplace, but there is also an old style Fender rumble 100 for $140. My only goals are to play at home for fun and possibly jam with my one buddy who plays guitar. No interest in joining a band. Is it worth the extra money for the 100w despite it being the older style, or should I go for the 25w?

Hello, I am looking for some more experienced players opinions on if I should upgrade my amp or not, and if so what I should upgrade to. I’ve been playing for around 6 months on a Glarry bass and the super cheap 12w amp that came with it. I’m debating upgrading due to how cheap the amp is and I’ve seen some decent deals online. There are three options im debating.

Crate BT220 from Facebook ($120)
Used fender rumble 40w from guitar center.
Acoustic B20 from Facebook ($40)

Happy to hear any opinions on if it is worth the upgrade and which of those three options (or others) y’all would recommend.
