Note: This is my friend's profile should he apply to LUMS for the 2027 Batch, He is also perfectly eligible financially. So, has he got a chance of getting in? and a chance at 100% financial aid? Please Answer I would appriciate it alot.

Yo, it’s already the morning of July 7th and the vast majority of us are still staring at completely blank portals and empty inboxes.

I’ve seen a couple of comments and posts from people claiming they or someone they know got an acceptance email late yesterday afternoon, but the overwhelming mass of applicants is still completely in the dark.

If anyone here has actually received a verified update, an email, or a portal change today, please drop it in the comments.

Hey everyone, Just wanted to check if anyone has seen their portal status change today (June 30th) or if anyone knows if they’ve started rolling out the SCS shortlists yet?
My portal is still stuck at 100% "Submitted". Dm if you have any idea when the first batch usually drops. Good luck to everyone waiting.

Asalam o Alaikum, Tomorrow is june 30th and from what I know we will start getting our shortlists for the SCS session. First of all you should know whatever the results are even just applying to a instituiton like LUMS shows Immense grit So, be proud of yourselves for that. Ofcousre only a small number of applicants will actually get shortlisted but it does not mean that all other's who applied are not deserving. So, Keep your Head's held high. Ik hearing about rejections daily in this subreddit is overwhelming even though their path is different it still shows the level of competition there is. Every applicant is strong academically and is able to accomplish great thing's in life. Even if you do not get accepted remember that Allah has other even better plan's for you.

So, For the past few days in this reddit I have seen many students get accepted and rejected, And I had a question regarding LUMS NOP pathway. Does LUMS also Infrom you when you are not shortlisted for the SSC like they are informing applicants who did not get selected via the normal pathway, Or do they just leave us in the dark and only inform us if we are selected. Plz if someone could clarify this to me asap because the dates for selections are coming up.

AoA, I applid to LUMS via NOP back in febuary and they have stated in their website that, Applicants usually get confirmation of their acceptance till May-June, But still I have not gotten anything, no Email and nothing on portal, So, I wanted to ask if I get rejected will I still be informed in the email or not? and when can I expect an update from their side?
