does this hoya sunrise need pruning?

hey yall! i was just wondering how hoyas usually grow? i'm new to this so i have no clue if they branch from nodes or just from tips and i'm a bit concerned since the tips are brown and shrivelled up. the white line surrounding the pot is perlite i was just soaking it in water lol
