Ryanair refused me boarding at the aircraft, then recorded it as a “Missed Departure”

On 17 September 2026 I was booked on Ryanair flight FR5625 from Pisa to Manchester.

My boarding pass showed DOCUMENT VERIFIED, seat 06F, and I reached the aircraft.

At the aircraft I was refused boarding after an allegation that I had been vaping while walking from the gate towards the plane. I dispute that allegation.

My son was walking with me the whole way. He says he did not see me use a vape, hold one to my mouth, or exhale vapour.

He was allowed to board.

Before boarding had finished, he says he personally saw another passenger sitting in my allocated seat 06F.

I do not know why that passenger was there. I am not claiming the flight was overbooked, that the seat was double-sold, or that it was formally reassigned.

After I was taken back landside, I asked Ryanair for a written explanation for the refusal of boarding. I was not given one.

I then had to pay €100.

The Ryanair receipt categorises that payment as:

“MISSED FLIGHT FEES”

I was then rerouted from Pisa to London Stansted on FR587 instead of Manchester.

Ryanair's updated itinerary records:

“Complimentary Boarding Pass issue”

and:

“Missed Departure”

That is the part I am struggling to understand.

My account is not that I arrived late or failed to appear. I had reached the aircraft and was refused boarding.

I later submitted a compensation complaint. Ryanair's response recorded the flight status as “Delayed” and rejected the claim because:

“Delay was less than 3 hours.”

But my complaint was about being refused boarding, not about a flight arriving three hours late.

I've attached redacted copies of Ryanair's own documents.

So my questions are straightforward:

Why was I charged a “Missed Flight Fee” if I reached the aircraft and was refused boarding?

Why does Ryanair's updated itinerary record “Missed Departure”?

Why was my first complaint dealt with using a less-than-three-hours delay reason?

And why was another passenger sitting in my allocated seat 06F before boarding had finished?

I don't want to speculate about the answers.

I would simply like Ryanair to explain how its own records fit the sequence of events.

Saved Memory stops working after using plugins in the same ChatGPT conversation

I have reproduced what appears to be a systemic ChatGPT Saved Memory bug.

Expected behaviour:

Saved Memory should continue working normally after using a plugin in the same conversation.

Actual behaviour:

A memory saves successfully before using a plugin. After a plugin is used, ChatGPT may still reply that a second memory was saved, but the second memory does not appear under:

Settings → Personalization → Manage Memory

Reproduction steps:

  1. Start a normal new conversation with Saved Memory enabled.
  2. Ask ChatGPT to remember a test phrase.
  3. Confirm that the phrase appears in Manage Memory.
  4. Use a plugin in the same conversation.
  5. Ask ChatGPT to remember a second unrelated phrase.
  6. ChatGPT replies as if the memory was saved.
  7. Open Manage Memory.
  8. The second phrase is missing.

Plugins tested:

- Apple Music
- Booking.com
- Gmail
- Google Drive

Platforms tested:

- ChatGPT for iOS
- ChatGPT desktop app for Mac
- ChatGPT web in Chrome
- ChatGPT for Android on a separate fresh installation and previously unused account

Fresh Android reproduction:

  1. A first test memory saved successfully.
  2. Booking.com was used.
  3. A second memory request received a normal reply saying it was saved.
  4. The second memory did not appear in Saved Memories.

This fresh Android test was done on a different device and account, so the issue is unlikely to be caused by my main account, iPhone, Mac, browser cache, browser extensions, or an old app state.

The same pattern has also occurred after using Apple Music, Gmail, and Google Drive.

OpenAI Support has said that the behaviour appears unintended and likely to be a bug. I have already provided support with screenshots, detailed reproduction steps, platform and app versions, and a screen recording.

Terminology note:

In earlier ChatGPT versions, these were referred to as connected apps/tools. In the current ChatGPT app UI, the same feature is labelled “Plugins”.

The bug is the same regardless of the UI name:

save first memory → use a connected app/tool or plugin → save second memory → second memory does not appear in Manage Memory

Has anyone else reproduced this?

Please test:

save first memory → use any plugin → save second memory → check Manage Memory
