I’ve been writing songs for some years now but I have recently decided to add the production phase to my learning journey.

What equipment would you recommend for me to have to be able to make a clean track?

Background:

I play piano and have an SMK-25 M Vave MIDI controller 🎹 as well as an acoustic guitar 🎸 . I recently transitioned to Reaper (DAW.) I have a decent-ish mic 🎤 (don’t remember the model.)

I hear people talk about having an interface and such. Which one would you all recommend? What additional equipment/software should I get? I’m not looking to buy anything super fancy right now, just some equipment to get me started.
