senior checklist for college

hello! i’m about to go into my senior of high school and so far i‘m not so sure about what i want to do. i’ve always told myself i was going to be a lawyer, but now it’s just not something i want to do anymore so that screwed me over. i have no extracurriculars in my name, i was so stressed my junior that i literally had no time outside of school. and right now its so difficult to get a job as a teenager in LA because of the job market.

after looking at everything i think i might want to do nursing, or business school but im honestly open to anything except computer science. i’m also kind of clueless on how majors and minors work, none of my family members went to college so i dont have that support. if you’d could help me choose those majors and minors i would also appreciate it.

my mom is a marine veteran so i get okay benefits for college. i don’t get why chapter 35 benefits because she has no service connected disabilities. but she has the yellow ribbon program and basically if i go anywhere out of state or private they can cover a portion of it. like pepperdine and UMiami will cover everything and UOregon will cover a portion. so i kinda wanna aim more toward a private/out of state college if possible but with reasonable acceptance rate for me. thank you!
