Are Paglia and Jordan Peterson right?

Both of them are obsessed with Individual responsibility under a regime of equality of opportunity. Are they right? They basically believe that you have to guarantee some (Rawls_like) justice in opportunity with a mostly free society otherwise.
They completely agree with first wave and mostly reject second wave feminism.
Please critique and point out fallacies in the general argument. Just looking for personal thoughts in case I'm missing something and feminist social constructivism (women are sociologically oppressed in patriarchy) of society actually makes sense to you.
If some Feminist literature can actually survive this critique, please recommend.
