They had upgraded it for a few weeks, but now we are back to the old way with having to hit START twice. What happened?

Happy Father's Day!

Unfortunately, mine is off to a less than stellar start. We have a trip booked to Ipswich, and my wife broke her foot on Saturday afternoon. She is in rough shape, but trying to be tough and salvage a day or two on the north shore.

I would love if someone could recommend a scenic spot on the shore that we could pull our car up to and maybe let our 7 year old play for a bit along the water. Maybe something that is rocky and therefore doesn't attract a traditional beach crowd? A pier of some kind that where we could get some food? That's the vibe we are going for here.

We'd typically be at Crane Beach, but that is obviously off the table for now.

Can anyone help?

Edit: this could be anywhere in Ipswich, Gloucester, Rockport, etc. We have an Airbnb booked in Ipswich but can drive anywhere needed.

What are the options? anything decent? trying to decide if I should eat before heading in today - thanks!
