Affordable Wedding Catering Recommendations (PLEASE)

We are getting married at an outdoor venue in Birken, just north of Pemberton.
It's an small, intimate wedding of 40-50 people.

We are finding wedding caterers to be very limited in the sea-to-sky corridor, Whistler being the closest food scene to our venue.

We've looked into:

Town Square
Snowline
Chefs Life
The Collective Kitchen
Harvest Society

But apart from Town Square (who, it seems, are not available for our date), they are all above budget, averaging at 80$/head PLUS service, staff, gratuity AND taxes.

We were hoping to cap it off at 60$/head TOTAL. Maybe unrealistic at this point BUT I would love to know if we're missing anything and if you have any recommendations for our search because that would be VERY appreciated!

Help me add some whimsy

I want to see what I can realistically do to make this dress a bit more whimsical. I was able to pin the bow from my mom's wedding dress to the back, which I think is already a big win!

But I always thought I'd wear chiffon, or lace, or crepe fabric for my wedding. And here I am with a shiny polyester satin.

I bought it because I love the tea length, low back, and price point (just under 100$)

Is there anything I can do to this dress to give it a softer look?

I'm wondering if I can do anything to the sleeves, or if it's somehow possible to add a top layer to the skirt (although I'd love advice here since there's no natural waist seam)

Tailor/seamstress advice/insight would be appreciated 🙏

Can this be altered?

Can I get my mom's wedding dress to fit me???

See the last photo for the original dress - it was sewn by my mother's aunt and it was absolutely adorable with the sleeves, but just a bit much for me. We were able to very easily unpick the sleeves ourselves and I fell in love with the strapless version!

As you can see, when the sleeves were holding the dress up higher, the bodice seemed to fit me better, probably because of where it was sitting at the hips, BUT when it was up that high it was much too tight!

I was wondering if you think the zip back could be altered to a lace back?

And/or if the sides seams could be taken out a bit (there seems to be enough seam allowance, I think?)

And if the side seams were taken out, would that still fit the tulle skirt or would that also have to be altered

I'm open to adding simple strap sleeves to it to help keep the girls 🍒 in place.

I think you can see the vision....

Is this doable and, if so, how much do you think this will cost?

Help me fix my wedding dress!

There's something about the front top of the dress that just isn't quite right to me

I found this very affordable simple open back wedding dress at Boudoir 1861 in Montreal and this bow on the back is actually from my mom's wedding dress! Right now it's just pinned in place.

And I'm not married to the pearls (no pun intended), I was just playing around with accessories

There's so much I love about this dress (*pockets!) BUT there's something about the front top of the dress that just isn't quite right to me

I just can't put my finger on it and then I can't figure out how to fix it. Does anybody have any ideas of what I can do to make it more flattering. I'm willing to alter or embellish.
