Any good resource for Mock exam for Part 1 in Medicine?

Essentially, what the title says. Better if it budget friendly?

Mediverse by Medicall. Is it worth it ?

Is the qbank authentic ? Are the past papers and mcqs in its qbank valid ? Are there answers correct? Inshort, is the subscription worth instead of SK ? I am used to solving uworld so SK past papers and rafiullah is not an easy challenge for me. So i was looking for an alternate.

Do I even have a chance ?

I am taking Part 1 in medicine in the coming attempt.

I have a 75% aggregate in MBBS

I didn't do Housejob from my home institute so I will not get the whole 5 marks. Do I have a chance to get induction ?

What should I do in my situation ?

I took step1 in may this year and have gone through First aid multiple times for it. I have decided to take the october attempt of Part 1 in medicine. What should I focus on in the next 2 months to maximize my chances of passing ? Is it doable in 2 months ?

What do I need for 260 ?

Hello. I passed step 1 a week ago and my target for step 2 is around feb-march 2027 with a break in nov for a month or so. So a total of around 8 months of study period.

I'll come straight to the point . What do i need to do for a 260 ? Ik it sounds cliche but that is my target and I want to achieve it fair and square.

My step 1 knowledge is fresh. I have read that i need 80-85% to get a 260+. My last 5 nbmes of step 1 were jn low 80s (ik it doesn't translate into good scores for step2 too because they are totally differnet exams but i just want to give you an idea of my baseline starting step2)

I didnt use Anki for step1 so i probably wont do it for step2. Apart from that, any suggestions on resources or study methods would be appreciated

That was something.

First of all, to the people who say it is nothing like NBME/F120 and the people who say it is exactly like NBME/F120, I get you both. Majority of the concepts are the same. Some are ditto copies (NBME images). But the propotion of vague/tough questions is much worse than them both. 80% of the stems are F120 length. Rest are longer.

For a 70% NBME student, an avg block will look something like this :

-10 question you'll answer just by  going through the stem once

-15-20 questions you'll have to reason through. They require in-depth knowledge of core concepts and random factoid.

-10 questions will be extremely vague, with difficult presentation or ask about a minute detail of 4th order

- 2-3  questions will straight up have Hoo-Haa syndrome or KFC mutation as the answer so that is just straight up luck.

There will be some WTF moments , where you'll get rhe exact same question for gods know how many times. I straight up got para-aortic lymph drainage of testes/ovaries FOUR TIMES on top of total 5-6 questions just on lymphatic drainage of just the pelvis apart from those 4.

I got 5 questions just on language interpreter.

You will flag a lot of questions. You will get a lot of questions wrong. But the good things is that it is P/F, so no worries in going for it while knowing all this.

Tbh, the only reason I am not shitting bricks rn is because my avg of last 5 NBMEs was 79% (don't kill me pls)

I am going to test in 5 days.

My last 4 NBMEs (30-33) have been 80-81% taken throughout last month.

Just took the Free 120 (2024) and that percentage dropped to 74. Ik it's still a pass but what worried me more is that i felt like guessing half the questions . That wasn't the case with NBMEs. I took those forms fairly confident and actually knew what was going on. Plus I've seen almost everybody score actually more on the free 120 than their NBME forms.

I just want to know if it's a common feeling and whether free120 is actually tougher than NBME and a more accurate predictor?
