MAC no longer supporting games!
TLTR: Game not working after updating my mac to Golden Gate 27.0.0 (I think)... I have been trying to play Ancestors Legacy on my MAC and it has stopped working after just two successful launches. The timeline is as follows in bullet points just so it's easy:
* Installed steam and AL on my MAC and successfully opened the game.
* Tried to enter full screen mode and crashed the game.
* Opened again and thought the crash was a once off so I foolishly tried again at full screen... Crash.
* My original idea was to just start the game and have a quick look and at this point I had somewhere to be and left.
* At some point in the next few days my MAC updated to Golden Gate 27.0.0
* Since that it has not opened and I get a repeat of the errors shown in the images.
* I have tried everything that I could possibly find through reddit, google searches and using AI to troubleshoot. This included completely removing all traces of the game and steam from my MAC and starting fresh, third party apps, suggested steam settings, launch prompts, and lots more I can't remember.
What I've landed on are two possible issues:
AI suggests that the game is no longer supported due to the MAC update.
I feel like the MAC is somehow remembering the crashed state and is now trying to reopen it in crashed state every time and has me stuck in a loop.
I have contacted the games support but have gotten no response.
Has anybody any insight into this issue or anything similar with this game or any other games?
I am reaching out here becasue I am just stumped.
