i found this fun, its a lot more Silly SZN than discussion to me. I took this to mean EVERYONE IS HEALTHY for the sake of the exercise

also a nice starting list of players, almost exhaustive to me.

Reminder: we still have one last game tomorrow. The classic LA vs BOS Nation rivalry.

This weeks thought to get you going: Who will make playoffs?

healing content. the kids are gonna be alright

Here's three prompts for y'all:

1. Most impressed you've been with another team's player this week

2. Most infuriating thing about the league

3. Best thing you ate this month

OR just rant as long as you want

Fellas we are SO back. Snoog's Big Games (IN CENTRAL TIME)

7pm: Baylor vs Arkansas, SMU vs Vandy, LSU vs Wake Forest,

This weeks Challenge:

Two truths and a lie.

I'll start:

Peach Cobbler is the best dessert

Enes Kanter is a loser

Brad Jensen can see

Okay I now have a secondary challenge: Rank your teams starting midfielders.

For me: Graham Rader Colaprico, with little difference between the three

This weeks challenges:

1. Give me a real rant about something frustrating this weekend.

2. Tell me something you like about another team.

3. What are you looking forward to the rest of the summer?

4. As always: NT hot and cold?

Let's hear your rants, confessions and praises. Here is the living standings: LIVE LEAGUE STANDINGS

Edit: My friend wants me to share her friends Cat art show in LA: https://www.instagram.com/catartshowla/

In cases like this where the last matches of the week are so late (ending at 11pm ET on Sunday) you guys said it made sense to have a Friday Post Match Recap Post.

Any big thoughts?

This question is inspired by... honestly almost every team in the league, constant rotation, and always having starters on SEI.

I'll start, for Indy Eleven The Dash:

Campbell

Patterson Nielsen Berkley Klenke

Colaprico Graham

Ullmark Rader Van Zanten

Faasse

Lets yap. Challenge after this weekend: make a comment about a team that is not yours.

I'll start: I think the jump ACFC have taken the past three weeks after signing Sentnor should be talked about a lot. And credit should be given for the role of adding another hard worker in the press. Sometimes its not about wholes, its about leaning into who you are.

I think, conversely, Portland losing the handwork of Turner has been disastrous. Reilyn Turner the real Portland MVP?

How are awards shaping up? Coach of the year? Midfielder of the year? goalkeeper of the year? Defender of the year?

As usual, which National team player has impressed recently? Who hasn't?

Finally, Here's the most important metric: LUCY'S LIVE WEIGHTED STANDINGS

1st: Washington

2nd: Gotham

3rd: San Diego

4th: Utah

5th: Portland

6th: KC

7th: ACFC

8th: NC

9th: Denver

10th: Bay

11th: Orlando

12th: Seattle

13th: Houston

14th: Boston

15th: Chicago

16th: Louisville

Games so far this weekend to talk about: Everyone but Boston and Washington

As Usual some thoughts: Who impressed, who didnt from a NT standpoint? Who are you looking forward to seeing called up? As the Free agent period moves on, which weaknesses did you think your team needs to shore up? Who is hot since the break that u think will last? who is a mirage?

I really feel like I dropped the ball not posting one of these last weekend, definitely made my Monday really boring. Sorry Yall!

Some questions to get us started:

1. Which comms have u missed the most?

2. Which National team players have impressed you the most since the break? who has looked poor?

3. Whose return to play in July (from the break, not from injury) has been most impressive? Whose good form do you think will last until November?

4. Which injury returning soon do u think will be the most impactful?

5. Which big free agent news are u looking for more closely now that its mid July? Who do u think is a good fit for your team?

6. Based on how teams have looked coming out the break, what do u think the final top 8 will be? who will get home playoffs, who will win a game in round one?

7. What song did you listen to this weekend and really enjoy? Best thing you ate? New pets?

8. What new traditions do you think the sub should adopt? Friday and Saturday post match threads? I feel like on a weekend like this its impossible to remember at least two of the Friday games.
