Moving to Panama City

Hi there! My husband and I are moving down for my dad because he is sick and wants to be at the beach so he can fish and have some quality of life before he leaves this world. I am my dad’s caretaker since my mom suddenly passed back in 24. I am a CNA. My husband is a carpenter. Our rental house won’t be ready until August 1st. My husband and I and my 2 cats need to come down around July 20th for job interviews and looking for a room to stay in until the 30th. Of course, we will pay but it’s hard to find cheaper hotels at the moment because it’s peak season and also with 2 cats, it’s hard to find an Airbnb. Just checking to see if there was anyone out there that could put us up. TIA!

I’m a CNA and I need to move to Florida. My case is also in Florida from when I was on vacation in January.

So back in January, I got a DUI in Key West, but I’m originally from Birmingham, Alabama. Pretty much I’m on probation for nine months and if I complete everything that Florida has asked me to do it will go off my record. My paperwork states I’m not convicted yet because it’s pre-trial agreements. But suddenly I’m needing to move to Panama City and realizing that Florida’s laws are a little different for CNA’s. Anyone ever had a DUI or reckless driving and still able to get a job as a CNA in Florida? Also, I should add since I’m on probation, my case is still pending because I will not be convicted if I do everything I’m supposed to do. I was accepted into the back on track program and my paperwork specifically states “ to receive a withhold of adjudication of reckless driving I have to complete all probation conditions.” so I guess what I’m asking is that when they do my level two background check, is it going show up that I have a pending DUI? And since I haven’t been charged yet do

Anyone here an opossum rehabber? Or know anyone? The Alabama wildlife Center does not take in mammals. It’s about 8 to 10 weeks old. It will eat dry cat food and it will drink water on its own, but they don’t usually go out on their own till they’re about four or five months old. I work too much and take care of my dad so I can’t do it.TIA
