Looking for Cork based artists for colouring book
Last year I made a colouring book in aid of an animal rescue I volunteer at (Munster Lost and Found Pet Rescue). This year I’d like to do another edition but want to commission/invite some Cork based artists/illustrators to collaborate and hopefully spread the word of the charity and the animals looking for homes. I already have some new drawings done but would love to see more than just my work in the next edition.
The commission would be line art of some of the animals looking for homes or those who have found homes like the attached images.
I’m happy to discuss rates, though want to state now that I would expect that the copyright of the image be given to me (just to avoid potential confusion in future for reprints etc.) as part of a contract. I’m still trying to finalize terms on how this might look / work. All contributing artists will be recognized in the book (either on the contributed image or on a separate artists/socials page).
Finally I want to make it clear now that I will in no way accept AI contributions or want AI used in any aspect of the project.
There will be no financial expectation on any contributing artists either, I’ll be funding the printing etc. Though if you wanted to donate your time instead of a commission rate that’d be sound but not expected.
My goal here is to get more eyes on the charity, and the animals looking for homes and hopefully get more of them adopted.
