Which was the more annoying ghost in this series?

The left is “ghost” that you mainly see in dqb1
The right is “spirit” which you see in the second game.

Both come out late at night and harass you until dawn

IoA: do you prefer hostile monsters or none?

Do you prefer or have monsters roaming around your ioa or none? (Or more generally elsewhere such as building in the story towns that have monsters vs buildertopias that have none).

I’ve always been split between the two. Some element of tower defense makes the game feel alive. But ghosts killing livestock is a no go for me

How did you build your Furrowfield?

Furrowfield is the first town you can build up in DQB2.

Just curious how did you approach building it during the story and post game?

The builder bell is several blocks (3 or 4?) higher the surrounding terrain. The base area itself is of varying elevation as well. Did you try to flatten it all out by raising the town up?

Unlike the other islands where monsters are funneled into one direction, Furrowfield monsters can go all around the town, although the ones in the battle tend to come from the north.

There's lots of material available as well. From the wood material you learn, the stone that can be harvested from the windmill or church. Which ones did you end up using?

did you keep that small hill in the corner (I dont think it could be destroyed during the story).

For me personally, I've built it differently several times in my play throughs. I did one big building with everyone inside, and angled roofs in order to prevent the spores from spawning there. Then i did a normal town with many smaller buildings which looked better. At one point I thought of just building everything underground and avoid the spores entirely.

I havent done a post game build yet for my story towns.

Floating cities and underwater cities, how do NPCs react?

I've been thinking of doing a floating build (either a flying airship/spaceship/sky town) or an underwater city.

But I was wondering how NPCs would behave. Would they wander off and just jump off something floating? or open the door in an underwater city and float up to the surface?
already on my land builds, I find NPCs in weird areas.

What are your favorite Kitchens in DQB2?

There's probably around 15-20 different types of kitchens you can build in this game. Do you have a favorite one?

I usually end up making a simple kitchen and Dining room in order to get the restaurant icon.

Does any specific type of kitchen lead to residents cooking more?

Completely re-doing my Green Gardens build

A few months ago I posted my Green Gardens, and I wasn't satisfied as it felt a bit lifeless.
I tried to incorporate the tablet by placing it by the stairs, but it didnt look right.

So I decided to re-do the whole thing but blueprinted some of my buildings to be re-used in the new Green Gardens.

Right now, I still need to finish up the farm fields to the right of the tablet, but they still look a bit plain, any ideas how to make the farms look nicer

Redid my Green Gardens in IoA

A few months ago I completed my Green Gardens town (last picture), but felt dissatisfied with it. Something about it felt unlively and boring. I also didn't like how the tablet wasn't integrated so well with the town (its between the stairs).

So I destroyed it and re did the whole thing, but rebuilt some of the buildings.
I much prefer it now as it looks more lived in. Although I still need to finish up the farm area that I built to the east of the tablet. any suggestions?

Do you prefer stairs, elevators, or ladders/vines to connect floors?

When trying to access different floors, do you prefer to build stairs? Elevators using push and pull magnets? Ladders or vines where you need to climb? Or even springs?

Redoing my Scarlet Sands build

A few months ago I posted my Scarlet Sands build here
https://www.reddit.com/r/DQBuilders/comments/1smeaeh/my_scarlet_sands_build_in_progress_1/

I felt like the grass slope to the town looked too off in the desert environment, and decided to use my golem to smash bits of it off and use the swap tool to turn it into a fortified cliff instead. Modified the bottom to have a more resort feel and match the scarlet sands scenery

Mitsubishi X-2 Shin Shin up front

The X-2 is a tech demonstrator built by Mitsubishi. It featured domestic engines that used 3-d paddles, fly by light, stealth shaping and RAM. Although twin-engined, its close in size and weight to the Gripen. It featured no IWBs.
